Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in security engineering with a focus on application security, or software development architecting, operating, or scaling large-scale distributed systems, enterprise platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or tech lead role setting strategy for security programs, reliability initiatives, or large-scale systems, and driving cross-team execution.
- Experience with application security vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and mitigation techniques.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with vulnerability management programs, security tooling, and automation.
- Experience leading security or reliability efforts for a portfolio of SaaS or enterprise security products.
- Deep domain expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, production systems governance, multi-region disaster recovery, and incident response frameworks.
- Strong expertise in defining SLOs/SLIs, building observability frameworks, and scaling operations in fast-growing, mission-critical cloud environments.
