System Administrator -Tools expert
Location: Bangalore, India
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator / Helpdesk Technician with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of administering and supporting laptops in an enterprise environment, coupled with exceptional troubleshooting skills for network connectivity issues.
You will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration and helpdesk support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in rotating shifts and participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are a plus.
  • You will definitely possess these technical skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Okta, Virtualization, Fleet/osQuery, JIRA/Confluence, MDM, cloud hosting, Zoom, Box, and various operating systems.
  • Proficiency in networking technologies, including Juniper, Meraki, and familiarity with AD, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSO, TCP/IP.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or system administration role.
  • Telephony, Mail Flow, and Proofpoint Email Protection experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Bird’s eye view of your role –
  • Administer and provide technical support for users and laptops in an enterprise environment. This will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, system configurations, and user account management. Most of this support will be for remote users, and a mix of Windows, Mac, and Linux.
  • Help manage networking infrastructure (e.g., Juniper, Meraki).
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft 365, Okta, Virtualization (e.g., VMware or Proxmox), Fleet/osQuery, JIRA/Confluence, MDM (e.g., Intune, Jamf), cloud hosting (e.g., Azure, AWS), Zoom, Box.
What will you bring –
This role will work in rotating shifts in a 24x7 environment and on-call work.
The ideal candidate is an applications/tools expert. This is somebody who can help provide input on best practices and give solid answers based on experience and research. You’ll know most of the tools listed here well and have some networking experience. This is a systems administration / helpdesk role, where you will be part of a team with a variety of responsibilities, including the entire lifecycle of company laptops, servers, in-house and cloud services, etc.
