About Builder Engagement Team

Builder Engagement Team mission is to enable Builders, Customers and Partners to use and get the best out of our products suite MetaMask, Infura, Linea and Phosphor. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in:

  • Delivering a seamless onboarding experience to our products
  • Conducting comprehensive training sessions to enhance Builders expertise, demystifying the intricacies of web3 building
  • Offering top-quality technical enablement, from in-depth code and infrastructure reviews to hands-on technical workshops and peer programming sessions.

What you’ll do

As a Lead Solution Architect within the Builder Engagement Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our ecosystem builders can effectively leverage our suite of products. You will work with our world-class team of engineers, such as providing a white-glove on-boarding experience to the builders, investigating complex technical issues, working on the technical content of training, or sharing guidelines and best practices across the ecosystem.

Enabling Builders to use our products can also mean to build alongside them. You’ll get engaged in Agile teams to design the architecture of the missing pieces that will enhance their development experience and encourage them to advocate for our products.

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Enablement:
    • Engage with Builders to understand their technical requirements in light of their business goals.
    • Offer technical consultation and guidance to clients, ensuring the successful adoption and integration of ConsenSys solutions.
    • Develop and deliver technical expertise and enablement materials for internal teams, clients, and partners.
    • Conduct workshops, webinars, and hands-on sessions to educate stakeholders on ConsenSys products and blockchain technology.
    • Proactively identify and offer enablement program to tackle technical challenges the Builders could be facing
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of solutions with ConsenSys’ product capabilities.
  • Solution Design and Architecture:
    • Design comprehensive blockchain-based solutions tailored to client and partner requirements.
    • Assess and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance blockchain solutions.
    • Lead technical aspects of project implementation, from requirement gathering to deployment.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of blockchain solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges during the implementation process.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Lead the team of Solution Architects within Builder Engagement
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the blockchain space.
    • Contribute to the development of whitepapers, case studies, and other thought leadership content.
    • Represent ConsenSys at industry events, conferences, and forums.
    • Develop team members’ skills, ensuring they stay updated with industry trends and best practices

Job requirements

Proven experience in the following areas:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum.
    • Expertise in developing and integrating blockchain-based solutions.
    • Proficiency in software architecture and design, particularly for scalable and high-performance applications.
    • Coding capabilities in relevant programming languages (Solidity, Javascript and Typescript).
  • Professional Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Lead Solution Architect or a similar role, ideally within the Web3 or blockchain industry.
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering technical enablement, training, and consultation to clients and internal teams.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
    • Technical leadership experience
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Teamwork capability, flexibility, initiative, communication and organization
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Bonus points:
    • Experience working with ConsenSys products (MetaMask, Infura, Linea, Phosphor) is highly desirable.
    • Experience working in a start-up culture
    • Experience working closely with external stakeholders or clients
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguity
