We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Sr Manager to join our Growth Data Science and Analytics Team. In this essential role, you will be the thought leader partnering with different stakeholders in business, engineering and analytics teams, and leading a team of data scientists who would focus on developing responsible for developing and optimizing machine learning models. Your work will have a direct impact on optimizing customer outcomes and business performance. As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

• Partner with business teams in understanding the business problems and work with them on how a ML / DS model can help the teams achieve their missions efficiently

• Prioritize the ongoing and new projects in partnership with the product, engineering and other data teams

• Translate the business requirements of business teams into efficient data solutions and develop a clear PRD with the needed milestones and expectations. Collaborate with the cross-functional leaders to get the needed sign-offs.

• Hire, develop and build a team of DS/ML superstars who would help you achieve the goals by building Machine Learning models aligned with the business needs.

• Own and lead the vision of the ML team in partnership with the product and engineering teams

• Work comfortably with large data sets and being able to deploy data systems for predictive and prescriptive models.

• Plan, Create and own machine learning pipelines designed to be in production (Own the full lifecycle of ML models from data-wrangling to getting it into production)

• Work closely with the data infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration of machine learning models with our existing systems and data pipelines.

• Lead and set up ML operations processes to help the ML/DS teams operate efficiently, while ensuring the consistent high-quality outputs of the models

• Continuously monitor ML models, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our ML capabilities remain competitive and cutting-edge.

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

• BSc or MSc in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Data Science.

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience of planning, developing, deploying and managing models.

• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• Familiarity with data processing and ETL tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Postgres.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for optimizing algorithms and models for high performance.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse, cross-functional team.

• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
