As a Product Manager for the Payment & Fraud, you will be responsible for
Deeply understand internal customers and their use cases to deﬁne vision and strategy for products or platforms that will support them
Sets and documents a vision for a full Squad, spanning multiple features and contributing to various OKRs. This squad charter is always up to date and easy to share with new team members.
Challenges the status quo within the Squad and inspires the team to make meaningful products that fit into the broader product strategy.
Prioritize and manage competing requests from disparate teams to balance a vision for the future with incremental business value today
Ensures every member of the Squad understands and buys into the vision.
Is regarded as the domain expert of their product and acts as the referent for others in the company.
Actively seeks whatever information they can find on their topic (technical, customer, operations, market, etc.), internally and externally in a continual growth mindset.
Sets and documents goals on a 3-6 month timeframe for products or features with some assistance from their manager.
Writes strong narratives, Epics and User Stories for all products needing to be built.
Works closely with the design team to conduct user research and discovery (wireframing, prototyping, design review) for all user-facing features.
Convinces the Squad and external stakeholders of a path to achieve results for a product area with clear priorities and trade-offs understood by all.
Able to prioritize the entire Squad’s time and energy in accordance with the strategy.
Domain Product sense and product execution techniques
Delivers on overall Squad goals by managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective at working cross-functionally on limited projects / features.
Work closely with engineering and analyst teams to deﬁne clear requirements and execute well
Self-motivated and delivers on all committed projects with minimal oversight.
Implements measurement frameworks (eg. A/B testing, product analytics, statistical significance) to determine the success of every feature, opportunities to iterate, or a decision to kill the feature.
Uses an appropriate toolset of execution techniques, such as proper agile methodology, project/programme management, OKR tracking (etc.).
Leverage an understanding of engineering, analytics, and technical work to build sustainable and scalable solutions
Always has >4 weeks of story-level and >12 weeks of Epic-level backlog groomed for their squad.
Deﬁne and drive success metrics for internal products, and tie them to business outcomes for users
Recognized by the Squad and cross-functional areas as a leader for a particular product and inspires them to follow towards a goal and strategy.
Engage across silos and levels of seniority to connect technical products and projects to the business they serve
Displays composure in the face of challenges and is able to motivate the Squad through challenging moments.
Actively seeks out and cultivates new partnerships and relationships (inside and outside their immediate team) to ensure the success of the product.
Lead by example to motivate and evangelize a cross-functional team
Has strong written and verbal communication skills and reflects it in all collateral (eg. user stories, Epics, updates).
Communicates proactively with established partners, stakeholders and with peer groups.
Runs effective meetings for small groups and communicates clearly when called upon in larger venues.
Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?
Minimum of 5 years in Product Management with experience with product discovery, planning, technical delivery (eg. scrum/agile).
Fluent in English (required), Spanish (required) and Portuguese (required).
Positions can be fully remote but preference will be given to candidates in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina or Brazil where we have our main offices. Globally located is possible under the right circumstances.
Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or other related field.
Effective communication skills for all audiences at all levels of stakeholder (including Director-level interactions)
