What you will do
- You will report to the Head of Brand & Content Marketing.
- Research, write, and optimize in-depth technical content for security and developer audiences – such as articles, landing pages, white papers, reports, videos – that aligns with SEO best practices. Content must be well-researched, in-depth, comprehensive, and relevant for target audiences.
- Implement & drive SEO strategy: Identify content opportunities using keyword research, competitor analysis, and search trends.
- Perform SEO & editorial reviews: Edit content for clarity, tone, technical accuracy, grammar, and SEO effectiveness. Ensure every asset meets Sysdig’s brand and content standards.
- Content performance analysis: Work with the growth team to analyze content performance metrics to complement our paid and organic strategy. Provide regular updates on our organic search performance.
- Help maintain the editorial calendar: Update and manage the editorial calendar based on business goals, product launches, and seasonal trends.
What you will bring with you
- 5+ years experience creating technical content, ideally in cybersecurity, DevOps, or cloud-native technologies
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, on-page optimization, and keyword strategy, experience with AI search engines is a plus
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and traffic through content
- Experience with Webflow, Google Search Console, and tools like Ahrefs/SEMrush
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud security is required
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
- A portfolio of technical or developer-focused content you’ve created

The U.S. annual on target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between 98,000 USD to 135,300 USD/year. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
